IRS 501(c)3 App Status

• Got letter dated March 3, 2011 from the IRS stating that the case was closed.
• In order to reapply a new application package and fee must submitted to the IRS.

GNCC Arena club championship

• June 10-12, 2011
• Arena Club Championship
• Hosted by Triangle Curling Club
  • Wake Forest, NC
• $400 per rink
  • includes drinks and foot
• Deadline April 30, 2011
• We have enough curlers for one rink, but maybe not enough for two

• Show time for people working table: 5pm
• Jeff will continue to publicize, including on AtlCanadians.com
• Jeff needs to publicize at work and ask if Pres. wants to buy more tickets
• Patrick responsible for collecting our share from the GG
• Bring stones to the table
• Shoot for demo during next season (on like Donkey Kong)
• Patrick will make more flyers
• Jeff will make some more business cards

Next Social

• April 5th @ North River Tavern
• Jeff will start working up publicity
• Patrick will put it on flyers for the Gwinnett Gladiators

Stones

• Jeff talked to Eddie
  • Eddie has 2 sets for us
  • Larry has 1 set for us
  • Eric K. wants to sell us 2 sets of stones for $3400 each
    • Payment plan:
    • $1000 up front (1 year)
    • $600 / 6 months for 2 years
• Arrival 2pm Saturday 19th
• Patrick: Suburban - will get some paper/plastic/sheeting/stuff
  • Can handle 1 set
• Jeff: Sienna (will get plywood)
  • Can handle 1 set
• Need a third still
• Taking them to Carl's house

Hacks

• Eddie has 1 set of hacks to lend us
• Eric: Knoxville probably has 2 sets they can lend us
• Eddie probably has more that we could fix

• Eric: virtually willing to give us the worst
